New Look skater dress

Dress & Bracelet: New Look

OOTD New Look
I wore this outfit when Adam and I went out for dinner then to the cinema. I wanted to be a bit dressy but since it was a Wednesday I didn't want to over-do it, so I went for flats instead of heels. If I'd wanted to wear heels I would've went with my black Litas!

OOTD Grunge
Bag & Shoes: Primark
Jacket: Topshop

Spiked Bracelet

What do you think about this outfit?

My Week In Photos #9

1. On Monday, Adam and I went to visit Amy Rose.
2. It was the first time Adam had met her :)
3. I bought the Dracula DVD from work on Tuesday since I've just finished the book.
4. Street performer on Wednesday. Notice his feet aren't touching the ground? How?!
5. I went to Adam's on Thursday since it was my day off and we watched Skew. It wasn't the best horror movie I've seen but wasn't terrible I guess!
6. Mango Martini at the restaurant Adam and I went to on Friday night - was so nice!
7. We then went to Tiki Bar in Bath St which is amazing. Adam had a Mai Tai and I had a Rum Bongo (with vodka instead of rum haha), which was so, so yummy!
8. My niece and nephew brought me this cute mug back from Disneyland Paris on Saturday!
9. I got to put From Under The Cork Tree on in work today and had a great time singing away to myself. Such a good album!

How was your week? And can you recommend me some good horror movies?

Holiday Blog #3 | Timanfaya National Park

On our second day in Lanzarote we went on an excursion to Timanfaya National Park - the site of a volcano. It was a really interesting trip and we took tons of photos so I thought I'd give it its own post. Once again, remember to click on the photos to enlarge them!

5. This photo of Amy Rose on Thursday is the cutest thing ever!!
6. My niece Orla and nephew Nathan went on holiday on Friday to Disneyland Paris so I went to say bye to them. I'll miss them loads!
7. Me holding a huge eagle owl called Elvis on Saturday - his eyes were massive!
8. I also held a barn owl called Thunder and she was so, so cute and super soft! It was such a lovely experience!
9. My nails that I painted this evening - "Skylar" by Angelica.

I feel like I didn't take enough good quality photos this week which is rubbish :(  And sorry for posting this so late at night - I've had a lot going on today! Also, I'm doing full time hours at work next week so if I don't post much I'm sorry! I'll try my best though.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Review

For various reasons, my skin is a total pain right now. It's super dry and being out in the sun a lot on holiday hasn't helped that. I've been looking out for products to hydrate and repair my skin so when I saw this First Aid Beauty product in the duty free magazine on the aeroplane for just £7, I had to buy it!

The product is fragrance-free, allergy tested and suitable for sensitive skin, which is great for me as mine is very sensitive at the moment. It also features an antioxidant booster so is a real treat for your skin overall. It's suitable for use anywhere on your face and body so is a brilliant all-rounder.

My lips suffered the most in the sun and were so cracked and sore - it did not look good! I tried using a lip balm specifically for use in the sun but it was pretty rubbish, and even my trusty Carmex couldn't help! I tried the Ultra Repair Cream on them and literally within 15 minutes they felt much softer. I've been applying it as often as I can and it's made a huge difference - I didn't expect it to be this good! It's healing my lips up really well and they should be back to normal within the next few days, which I'm very grateful for.

I've also tried the cream on the areas of my skin that got a little burned in the sun (despite my careful application of factor 50 suncream!) and have started to peel a bit. It's been great for this use too, and those areas are getting much better. It's only really on my shoulders and chest but they're looking a lot better already.

I'm really impressed with this product, and it was a great price too, especially as a little goes a long way so I'm sure it'll last me a good while. I'll definitely be re-purchasing it in the future and I think this has become one of my favourite ever skincare products!

First Aid Beauty is available at Feel Unique.
