Bright Eyes | Best Products

I am never able to sleep at any kind of reasonable time, and if I'm working I need to be up really early, so I constantly have dark circles under my eyes. Over the years I've built up a core collection of products which help to conceal them and improve the appearance of my under-eye area overall. I've tried lots of different products for this purpose but these four are definitely my favourites, so if you're a night owl like me, you might want to invest in some of these!

Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream Review

Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream

Rather than simply concealing dark circles, this product fades them, so hopefully after a while you won't need to worry about covering them up any more! It's specifically designed to brighten the eyes and features apple extract and burnet, an old favourite remedy of the Chinese, so it's full of good things.

Benefit Ooh La Lift Review

Benefit Ooh La Lift

I use this after my eye cream and before any other make-up. It's light reflecting so instantly brightens up your under-eye area. I also find it to be a really good base for the rest of my eye make-up so that's a good bonus! I really like this product because it does work, and on days where I've had barely any sleep the night before, this is a life saver!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer Review

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Chances are, you'll have already heard all about this concealer. It's become a bit of a cult product in the beauty world and it's easy to see why. It's the only concealer I've used for at least a year now, and I don't see myself trying a new one any time soon. It works so well all over the face, but its light reflecting properties make it perfect for under the eyes. It's a total bargain at just over £4 so if you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?

Sleek Bad Girl Palette Review

Sleek Eye Shadow in Innocence (first shadow in the photo)

It's a pretty well-known make-up tip to put a white eye shadow in the inner corner of your eyes to brighten them up and make you look more awake. One of my favourite shadows for this use is the Sleek one in Innocence. It's in my Bad Gal palette (pictured) which I don't think is available any more, and I'm not sure if it's in any other ones - let me know if it is! It's a great true white and Sleek eye shadows are always so pigmented. It's also good to use under the brow as a highlight.

What are your favourite products to brighten your eyes? Have you tried any of these ones?
