Munro's 1st Birthday Party


A few weeks ago I was invited along to Munro's to celebrate their first birthday with them and Adam and I had a great night. Munro's is a cosy bar in Glasgow's West End, specialising in craft beer and cask ale, while also serving great food.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera with me so sorry for the lack of photos!

We were given a glass of champagne on arrival which was a lovely touch, and we were able to try some of the food throughout the night too. We had onion rings and a pizza which were both really nice, but they do serve main meals too if you're looking for something more substantial.


The bar has a really homely feel to it, with comfortable couches, rugs, candles and even a box full of board games which you can help yourself to! It's a really lovely place to spend the night in.

The drinks were great - there's a huge selection and the craft beers are perfect for those who are looking for something a bit different. Amongst other things, I had a French Martini which I feel can be quite hit or miss, depending where you go. Munro's was perfect, with just the right balance of each ingredient so that's always a sign of a good bar for me!


The staff were all lovely and friendly, making sure we all had a great night, and there was a DJ playing soul and disco so if you're into that kind of thing you have to pay Munro's a visit!

I'd definitely visit Munro's again as it has a good atmosphere and high quality food and drink. It would be ideal for after-work drinks or on a Saturday afternoon after exploring the West End. I love finding new places to go in Glasgow so thanks to Munro's and Toni at Dada for the invite!
