CELEBRATING #20LushYears AT LUSH SAUCHIEHALL ST

Last week I was invited along to the Sauchiehall St branch of Lush to celebrate the company turning 20 this year. I had a great night hanging out with some other bloggers and chatting with the lovely staff at the store.

We were lucky enough to be shown some of the Oxford St exclusive products, and thankfully some of them will be making their way to other stores too! I absolutely loved The Experimenter bath bomb, which created the most magical looking rainbow bath and smelled amazing too. The packaging of the Life's A Beach Showder - an in-shower scrub- was so cute, like a vintage detergent box, and the scrub itself looks like sand. I love how Lush are always so innovative and creative with their products, there's so many surprises when they bring out new things and I'm always excited to see what they come up with next.

I was so excited when I found out that we were going to make our own bath bombs. We made the Big Blue which smells gorgeously fresh and I'm so happy to have my very own bath bomb that I created - I almost don't want to use it!

We also had a little game of "Who Wore It Best?" with the knot wraps. Everyone looked so cute with theirs and I decided to go for a messy Axl Rose kinda vibe - typical! The knot wraps are really pretty though, and are so versatile as they can be used to wrap gifts or be worn as a head scarf or neck tie etc. They come in loads of different patterns and I might just have to pick one up next time I'm in.

I loved hearing all about the Lush Spa treatments and now I seriously need to go. As with all things Lush, it's a totally unique experience with the likes of a chocolate body scrub whilst songs from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play, and another treatment which is pirate themed. It sounds like the perfect treat to relax so hopefully I'll make it through to the spa in Edinburgh sometime soon.

I was also very happy about the snacks provided as I was starving by the time I got there and tucked into Jammy Dodgers, popcorn, pineapple and strawberries. Thanks Lush for feeding me since I was an irresponsible adult who forgot to make dinner!

I couldn't resist buying the Honey I Washed My Hair shampoo bar on the night. I'll do a full review once I've used it a bit more but I'm loving it so far.

What are your favourite Lush products?

  2. Oh man! I got invited to this but couldn't go as someone had to stay at home to watch the dog. Looks like it was a lot of fun!
