HUNTED VINTAGE SS16

Last week I got a sneak peak at the latest collection from Hunted Vintage, a Glasgow-based brand run by the lovely Nicole Perry, who aims to provide awesome vintage clothing to facilitate self-expression and confidence. The event was so much fun and the collection was gorgeous, as well as surprisingly affordable.

Highlights of the collection were a fringed suede waistcoat, leopard print swimsuit and an oversized black leather jacket. I tried the jacket on and absolutely loved it, however it was just a bit too oversized for me so I reluctantly left it behind. My search for the perfect vintage leather jacket continues!

The awesome thing about this collection is that Nicole curated the whole thing herself after trips to Paris and Milan. You can tell the love and passion that has gone into building the collection and it adds a more personal feel to the shopping experience.

The space was decorated beautifully and full of inspiration, from vintage furniture to copies of magazines like Dazed. There were quotes all around, including the inspiration for the collection - "The rogues, the rebels and the Underground Kings".

On the night there were plenty of treats to keep us going, including amazing doughnuts by Nic's NYC Deli, brownies, macarons and even a "pimp your prosecco" station. I had a Terry's Chocolate Orange doughnut and it was heaven!

A lot of the items sold instantly on the night, but you can still get your hands on the remainder at the Hunted Vintage website.
